The stone tools were innovative and useful for the development of humanity and its cognitive abilities. Various tools were created in the paleolithic era with specific functions such as hunting, others for cutting skin, although there were many other types. There are spears, bow and arrow, daggers, choppers, scrapers, hand axes, and many others. A dagger is a type of knife usually with two sharp edges and designed for being used as a thrusting or stabbing weapon. During the Neolithic stage, the homos already had more knowledge and their brains began to reason. They could already understand that it was a society and the conflicts that lived in it, whereby the weapons that are used in close confrontations arise. In the Neolithic one progressively passes from a nomadic lifestyle to a semi-nomadic one, in which men moved looking for the best times and lands for harvest. The creators of this tool were from Homo Erectus to Homo Sapiens, from an evolution their brains also evolved and started to notice the necessity of weapons. This weapon was a creation from Africa extending to Europe and the Middle East. The creation of the dagger was a change in society since the bearing of small arms was a development for society and its cognitive abilities. Also, the traces that these weapon leaves are reflected in the routes that these societies took for survival.
The creation of not only the dagger but other weapons gave rise to other ages, making these events shocking to society. The dagger is an important weapon in the development of empires and others. This weapon has a bearing of fascination for what it was and is used for close confrontations. The dagger has potential as it has its sharp point ready for an attack or a cut from an animal or human.
